All activities are optional, except paddleboarding, which is a core part of the experience.
In the event of dangerous weather warnings, paddleboarding will be adapted for safety. If necessary, the session may move from the river to a nearby lake. This would only occur in exceptional circumstances and always with participant safety as the priority.
Paddleboarding & River Lunch
Develop stand-up paddleboarding skills while journeying along the River Wye, surrounded by the stunning Herefordshire landscape.

These weekends are designed to be welcoming and inclusive — you do not need to be highly fit or experienced to take part. What matters most is a willingness to show up, take part, and care for your own wellbeing.
Participants do need to be able to walk approximately 400 metres from the car park to the campsite. If you require assistance with your kit, we are able to help — for example, by carrying a bag — so please let us know in advance.
On Saturday, we will spend up to five hours on the river, so you should feel comfortable being outdoors for an extended period and prepared for exposure to the natural elements during that time.
All activities are delivered at a supportive pace, with guidance throughout. If you have any questions around accessibility or physical ability, please get in touch so we can discuss your needs ahead of the weekend.
