I’m thrilled to share the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our community workshop today the Dementia Tea Dance at The Courtyard Hereford!
It was a truly heartwarming and successful event, demonstrating the power of music and movement in creating joy and connection for those living with dementia, their families, and carers.
The atmosphere was buzzing with positivity, with attendees praising the setup, lighting, and music. It was particularly moving to witness so many people actively participating in the dancing, including one gentleman who shared a beautiful moment dancing with his wife – something they hadn’t been able to do in a long time. These moments are what make these events so special.
The delicious cakes and tea were a hit, and the smooth running of the event was a testament to the fantastic teamwork between our staff and the catering team.

The event was so popular that we even extended it beyond the scheduled end time!
