Wye Knot Community,The founder of intergenerational forest schools!

We are incredibly proud to be the founders of intergenerational forest schools, connecting young children with care homes through outdoor learning. 🌳✨

Our groundbreaking work has paved the way for others, with our successful case studies serving as valuable resources for care homes across the UK who are now implementing their intergenerational forest school programs.

 * Growing Together: This "We All Grow" project is a special Christmas tradition where children and residents create unique gifts from acorns – learning about growth and the wonders of nature.

 * Spreading the Seeds: We've successfully run intergenerational programs in Herefordshire and continue to share our passion for connecting generations.

Fun Facts:

 * Oak Trees: These majestic trees can live for hundreds of years! 🌳 They provide homes for countless creatures and their acorns are a vital food source.

 * Intergenerational Work: Studies show intergenerational programs benefit both children and older adults by reducing loneliness, improving social skills, and fostering mutual respect.

I founded Wye Knot Community with a vision to connect people with nature and nature to people. Inspired by the concept of the World Wide Web, where the mother tree nourishes other trees, I believe in spreading knowledge and fostering growth within our community. Together, we can all grow and thrive. I continue to work tirelessly to make a difference through our workshops.
