Join us at Queenswood for a relaxed and hands-on Christmas afternoon around the fire.
This special adults-only workshop is a chance to step away from the Christmas rush, spend some time outdoors and make something genuinely personal to take home.
You’ll learn how to safely light and sustain an open fire before using it to make your own handmade soap.
Make Two Handmade Soaps
During the workshop, you’ll make two handmade soaps.
One is yours to keep and enjoy, and the second can be made as a thoughtful handmade Christmas present for someone special.
You’ll have the opportunity to choose from suitable natural ingredients and create something completely personal.
Around the Fire
As well as making your soap, you’ll get to enjoy some traditional outdoor fire time.
We’ll make a lovely hot drink over the fire and toast marshmallows while enjoying the warmth and atmosphere of the fire.
This is a practical, relaxed experience where you can learn something new, get involved and enjoy being outdoors.

This is an adults-only workshop.
Location
The workshop takes place at Queenswood.
Please meet us at the front of Queenswood Visitor Centre at the start of your session. We will meet you there and show you where the workshop site is located.
Queenswood has parking available, although standard car park charges apply. There are also toilets and a café on site.

A Handmade Christmas Experience
Whether you’re looking for something different to do with friends, a unique Christmas experience or simply a couple of hours away from the Christmas madness, this workshop is about learning, creating and enjoying time around the fire.
You’ll leave with two handmade soaps — including one ready to give as a Christmas gift — and hopefully a few new outdoor skills to take with you.
