Our First Season – Trial Pricing
We are excited to be introducing our new Fire & Soap Workshops at Queenswood for our first season.
These hands-on outdoor workshops are designed for all ages and are a chance to learn practical outdoor skills, spend time around the fire and make something to take home with you.
What You’ll Do
During the workshop, you will learn how to:
* Light and safely manage a fire
* Sustain a fire and learn how to work with it outdoors
* Make your own soap over an open fire
* Collect and use suitable natural ingredients
* Create soap to keep for yourself or give as a handmade present
* Make a hot drink over the fire
* Toast marshmallows and enjoy time around the fire
Each workshop lasts approximately two hours.
Trial Season Price
As this is our first season running these workshops, we are offering an introductory trial price of:
£20 per person
Maximum of 10 participants per session.
Children under 5 attend free when accompanied by a paying parent or carer.

The Sunday afternoon sessions are open to all ages.
Christmas Special – Adults Only
Thursday 10 December, 1pm–3pm
Our Christmas Special is an adults-only workshop and will be available at:
£35 per person
During this special session, you will make two handmade soaps – one to keep for yourself and one to give as a Christmas present.
You will also enjoy making a hot drink over the fire and toasting marshmallows.
This is a relaxed, hands-on Christmas experience with the opportunity to learn new skills and make something meaningful to take home.
Private Group Bookings
If you would like to book a private workshop for a birthday, celebration, family occasion or as a gift, please get in touch.
We can arrange private group sessions and discuss your requirements.
Accessibility
We want our outdoor workshops to be welcoming and accessible to everyone.
Queenswood has parking available, although standard car park charges apply. We will meet you at the front of Queenswood Visitor Centre at the start of your session and show you where the workshop site is located.
If you have accessibility requirements or need additional support, please let us know when booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
If you use a wheelchair, we can arrange the closest available parking space to the workshop area where possible.
Queenswood also has toilets and a café on site.
Our aim is to make outdoor experiences accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
